Niner Times and Nova Literary Arts Magazine are finalists for 10 Pinnacle Awards, the annual fall awards program by the College Media Association.

In the division for schools with more than 10,000 students, Nova is a finalist for:

• Literary Magazine of the Year

• Best Literary Magazine Cover/Nameplate

• Best Literary Magazine Spread

• Best Literary Magazine Table of Contents

Niner Times is a finalist for:

• Periodic Newspaper of the Year (2 and fewer issues per month)

• Best Newspaper Front Page

• Best Editorial Illustration

• Best General News Photo

• Best News Package

• Best Game Story

The College Media Association is the nation’s largest organization representing student media outlets from across the country. The Pinnacle Awards recognize the best college media organizations and individual work, all produced by students. Winners will be announced at the Associated Collegiate Press/College Media Association Fall National College Media Convention in New Orleans Oct. 30-Nov. 2.

In addition, the staff of Midas is a finalist for magazine cover of the year in the ACP Design of the Year Contest. Winners will also be announced at the fall convention.
