Justin Paprocki comes to UNC Charlotte with about 20 years professional experience in journalism and media. His background is in print and digital journalism, working professionally as a writer and editor at newspapers and magazines. He has an undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Maryland and a master's degree in convergence journalism from the University of Missouri. He served as the student media advisor at Florida Gulf Coast University before arriving at UNC Charlotte in July 2023. At Student Niner Media Advising and Support, Justin advises the students with Niner Times and Uptown Audio. He also oversees the internship program and Student Niner Media alumni relations. Justin lives in Charlotte with his wife and two children.
